Nutrition and Exercise Services

"I believe the cornerstone of long-term healthy eating and weight management is connecting your body’s basic nutritional needs and what your mind finds satisfying." ~ Marjorie

I practice real-world Nutrition and Exercise.  I will work with you  to change eating and exercise patterns forever by helping you understanding how and why those patterns developed and integrate realistic ways to change. As an experienced Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer I assist with making lifestyle and dietary changes that are appropriate for your current stage of health and motivation.

What is the difference between a Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian?

The letters "R.D." after a person’s name signify that he or she has completed at least a 4-year degree in food science or human nutrition, after which they completed a minimum 900-hour internship, which trains and supervises their work in every aspect of dietetics and nutrition practice. They must then pass a national qualifying examination, To retain R.D. status, they must complete many hours of continuing education to keep pace with changes in the field.

All Registered Dietitians ARE nutritionists, however a nutritionist is NOT a Registered Dietitian. In some states, there is no licensing for nutritionists yet, and ANYONE can call themselves a nutritionist and have little formal training and/or education.

I accept all Empire BCBS and Aetna insurance plans.
