What is Nutrition Counseling?
Nutrition Therapy is an ongoing process in which a Registered Dietitian (RD), works with an individual to assess his or her usual dietary intake and identify areas where change is needed. The RD provides information, educational materials, support, and follow-up to help the individual make and maintain the needed dietary changes.
The goal of Nutrition Therapy is to help a person make and maintain dietary changes. Dietary change may be needed to promote healthier eating, to follow a therapeutic diet, and/or to avoid nutrient-drug interactions. The RD and individual works together to assess current eating patterns and identify areas where change is needed.

What is Exercise Therapy?
Often in eating disorder recovery individuals are told to avoid exercise. Just like food, physical activity is critical to healthy living and can be a healthy part of the recovery process.
Exercise Therapy is a combination of personal training and exploration of exercise symptoms with a focus and goal of incorporating healthy exercise patterns into your eating disorder recovery. Exercise Therapy aims at giving each client an exercise protocol that provides their body with a renewed sense of balance, energy, and strength. Individual assessments help patients learn to debunk their body myths and develop a healthy approach to personal fitness.
Exercise Therapy can help patients reconnect with their feelings and communicate on another level. Exercise encourages individuals to step outside of their mind and reclaim their bodies, giving them courage to find beauty and freedom in their own functional fitness level.
